Can “sound” be “exhibited” at all? Isn’t that a basic fallacy given the nature of sound? In addressing this fundamental question from a conceptual leaning, this project tries to comprehend sound’s specific problem as a curatorial artefact. Thereby, in the discourse of sound art curating, the project suggests to underscore the multiplicity of interpretation and unsitely elevated mode of contemplation triggered by listening, instead of deciphering the immediate meaning of the elusive “sound object”, drawing lines between the source of sound and listener’s mind that apprehends it, and emphasises the latter.
