The project (con)textualizes the contemplative dissociations and the elevated states resulting from shifting navigation of a nomadic listener across various intercepting sites that are perceived as present but disorienting auditory situations in the contemporary condition of mobility and placeless-ness. The project explores the mindful listening embraced by the nomadic listener on the margin of ephemeral and contingent environments of everyday, being geared towards a fluid and mutating interpretation of sound. This mode of listening is termed hyper-listening – a conceptual premise that prompts the listener to transcend the epistemological and ontological constrains of sound.
